RN-Surgical Services - Part-time. Requires 6 -12 months relevant experience (hospital OR or surgicenter, or 2 years in obstetrics that included scrubbing/circulating). Weekdays daylight, with some evening and weekend call.
Tech Assistant/Phlebotomist - Part-time. Requires recent training or experience. Will perform venipunctures on inpatients and outpatients, as well as other related funtions for clinical laboratory. Rotating shifts, including weekends and holiday.
Medical Transcriptionist - Part-time. Requires formal training or at least 2 years experience. Must have ability to use designated reference materials, and to transcribe from various dictation styles. May work all shifts, rotating weekends.
RN/LPN – Med-Surg - Part-time, casual. Experience preferred; telemetry experience helpful.
RN/LPN – Behavioral Health - Casual. Related experience preferred. For inpatient adolescent/adult and geriatric units.
Manager - Surgical Services - Requires RN with 3-5 years OR experience, plus experience or familiarity with outpatient surgery and post anesthesia care. Prefer management experience. Must have critical care training and current ACLS.
Patient Registrar - Part-time. Requires 30 wpm typing, and good organizational skills. Prefer related experience and knowledge of medical terminology. Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Quality Documentation Specialist – Full-time. Requires CCS, RHIA , or RHIT, or relevant experience as an inpatient coder. Will work in collaboration with physician, nurse, case management and other patient care team members to identify the need for clarification of clinical documentation. Will utilize clinical knowledge to initiate verbal and written queries to the physician and capture quality documentation to accurately support the patient's severity of illness.
Mental Health Aide - Casual. To provide necessary physical/personal care, and interact with patients and families as guided by professional staff.
Cardiology Tech – Casual, to cover call-offs, vacations, heavy volume. Works closely with physicians performing stress testing, EEG, EKG, Holter and event monitoring. Requires minimum 1 year experience; CPR certified. Must be comfortable working in emergency situations.
Food Service Worker – "Casual" status position, scheduled as needed 5-15 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Schedule will vary, and may include the following work shifts: 8 am - 1:30 pm, 4-7 pm. Duties involve setting up and breaking down cafeteria food line; serving cafeteria hot foods; running cafeteria cash register; sweeping and mopping floors; washing dishes; assisting with set-up of patient trays; delivering meal carts to patient floors. Must be able to stand for extended periods, push food carts, and frequently lift 6-10 pounds. Must be able to accurately count money and make change; experience with electronic cash register is helpful, but will train.
Autism Program:
Classroom Behavior Therapist (CBT) – Full-time, to work with students toward goals of their IEP utilizing ABA principles to maximize progress. Coordinate students’ daily curricula and activities, and monitor their safety and behavior.
Developmental Pediatrician – Provide diagnostic and therapeutic intervention for children on the autism spectrum ages 0 to 22, as well as for those with related developmental disabilities. Participate in the Center’s multi-disciplinary diagnostic clinic. Requires licensed physician with a specialization in pediatrics, and related experience. Initially, 8 hours per month, with physician involvement expected to grow with the program.
Occupational Therapist – Part-time. Pa. licensed OT with experience or interest in working with pediatric patients.
Speech-Language Pathologist –Part-time to provide direct treatment to autistic students utilizing ABA principles. Provide all aspects of clinical care, including comprehensive and intensive therapy.

General Employment Information
Nursing Specialty Areas:
Medical Surgical – Our Med-Surg units serve pediatric/adult/geriatric patients, and include several telemetry beds.
Behavioral Health – We provide Behavioral Health care on two separate in-patient units . . . Reflections, our recently opened specialized unit for geriatric patients, and Tranquility, an adolescent/adult in-patient unit.
Critical Care/ICU – An adult Intensive Care Unit with Critical Care/ACLS educated RNs providing a higher level of care.
Emergency Department – Full-service 24/7 ED staffed with specialty qualified physicians and RNs, and containing many state-of-the art Emergency Medicine technologies.
Surgical Services – 2 Surgical Suites, Endoscopy and Procedure Room. Providing 24/7 inpatient and outpatient peri-operative and endoscopy care for adult and pediatric patients.
Short-Procedure Unit - 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. operating hours, M-F. The SPU is a six bed pre/post operative recovery area for all outpatient procedures. The unit also administers intravenous therapy and injections on an outpatient basis.
Nursing Scheduling Options:
Full-Time -- 8-hour and 12-hour shift possibilities, based on a 72-80 hour bi-weekly schedule. Comprehensive benefit package.
Part-Time -- generally provides a minimum of 32 hours bi-weekly, but scheduled more as needed. Pro-rated benefits.
Casual status allows nurses the flexibility to work around their other commitments.
